Pazhou, located in Guangzhou, has a long history of foreign trade, which used to be the starting point of the maritime Silk Road in ancient China. Today, it remains an important place for foreign trade, hosting the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, twice a year.

The 135th Canton Fair, kicks off on April 15th and it will be running until early May. As China's largest and oldest trade fair, it boasts an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, with 28,600 companies participating in the export section, including over 4,300 new exhibitors, and 680 companies participating in the import section.

It is a trade fair that the whole world pays close attention to. SFC reporters went to the frontline and talked to a great many of buyers coming from India, Morocco, Mexico and so on. They all expressed their great interest in Canton Fair and confidence in China’s innovation and technology.
